NSE Oluyole Branch was inaugurated in August 2017 as Engr Ademola Agoro was elected the pioneer Chairman of the Branch. The Branch has since hit the ground running to serve its growing membership base. It a sub-branch of the Nigerian society of Engineers.
The Nigerian Society of Engineers was established in 1958 to provide a central organization for Engineers in Nigeria and generally to engage in activities that could be necessary to maintain a strict standard of professional ethics amongst its members, and to advance the interest of engineering profession in Nigeria. In the discharge of its functions, the society is expected to collaborate with industry, commerce and academia and other such national bodies as may be necessary and to present to the government of Nigeria, the views of the Society on subjects of concern or interest of Engineers in Nigeria. The Society has recorded tremendous progress since its’ establishment.
The main objective and pleasure of the current executive is to describe that success and more importantly consolidate it.
ENGR. ABAYOMI OYERINDE is a senior Electrical Engineer at Broadcasting Commission of Oyo State (BCOS), Ibadan.
He is the 3rd Chairman of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, Oluyole Branch, Ibadan.
